Ahhhh the weather is cooler, the wildflowers are colorful and the pumpkins are a'comin'! Fall is my favorite time of year. Every where you look is so colorful!
I am so excited about a few maternity sessions, an engagement session, a session with a very special little girl who spent her whole life (about 3 months now) in the hospital and let's not forget fall minis! I still have openings for fall minis so call me to get one!
I'm also excited about some changes I'm making. One of the changes I wanted to tell you about today is ... wait for it ...

Addysynne Jaece Leach was born July 11th.

She weighed in at 6 pounds 8 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long. Addy’s (that’s what her family calls her) Mommy and Daddy haven’t gotten to take her home yet.

Addy was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Hypoplastic left heart syndrome (also known as HLHS), is a rare congenital heart defect in which the left side of the heart is severely underdeveloped.

On July 26th Baby Addy had her first of several heart surgeries. She's a strong little girl and is doing well but her care is expensive and has a long road ahead of her. Her Mommy and Daddy have enough to worry about.

I will be selling raffle tickets for a one hour session with all files on a disk. All the proceeds from the raffle will go to Baby Addy so her Mommy and Daddy will have a little less to worry about.

Here's the skinny on how it works:

Fill out a Baby Registry form and customize your registry with the following choices:

a) Select the amount you would like the gift certificates to total. For example, if you are interested in a Baby’s First Year package that costs $500, you may setup your registry to have twenty $25 Gift Certificates for purchase. Your baby shower guests may purchase as many of the twenty Gift certificates as they like.

b) Select a start and end date for your registry.

c) Select a name for the gift certificate along with the description. The description can be anything you'd like to say to your baby shower guests such as the collection or wall portrait you wish to purchase with the gift certificate(s).

Then I will setup your registry and email you’re the information to provide to your shower guests. After they purchase a gift certificate I will mail them a gift certificate to present at the baby shower.

Easy peasy and a great way to have those first portraits without worry!

Long time no blog! I hope everyone has survived the holidays and the BIG snow of 2011. For those of you not in Arkansas we were blessed with 8 inches of snow. That almost never happens in Central Arkansas!

Mother's Day is coming soon. My Mom is so special to me. I am thankful for another year with her. Many of you know she is struggling with breast cancer and winning the battle (Go Mom!!). Chemo and radiation have been very hard on her. There are times she wanted to give up and I'm so glad she didn't. I don't know what I would do without her (yes that's right I still call her for Motherly advice and just when I need a good laugh!). So in honor of her and all the Mothers out there I am having another contest/ giveaway.

Stefhanie Guellich Photography is excited to announce a partnership with Think Pink Photography. Think Pink Photography was founded in October 2007 to support individuals and their families who have been touched by breast cancer. We are a charitable organization that serves two main purposes – celebrating life and supporting the cause.

Through our professional photographer network, we are helping breast cancer patients to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Individuals may choose to document their fight against the disease before or during treatment, or prefer to capture their victory by scheduling a session within 12 months after treatment is completed. Photographers world-wide are now available to donate time and talent to celebrate life and support the cause. There is no cost or obligation to the breast cancer patient. Clients participating in a Think Pink Session will receive a complimentary photo session, as well as a set of 10 small prints from the session. They will also receive a discount on any additional portraits they wish to purchase, although there is absolutely no purchase required at any time.

To support the cause, we have partnered with The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation. All funds generated through donations and various fund-raising efforts are paid directly to The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation. As a 3-time breast cancer survivor, Danielle Beverly and her husband Eric joined together to form a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer.
